Valentine weekend,celebrating and loving.

This week on the blog I rolled out the drums to celebrate my first guest post feature.
I am just one month and 7 days on the blog and to get featured as a guest writer was huge for me at www.colourandgrace.com
Still celebrating, its valentine weekend and I have to rush this post because am traveling.
Hmmmmm……
I know you’ll be thinking for a valentine weekend.
You’re wrong but not so wrong.
Am traveling because there’s a singles program I need to attend, it’s my first invite so don’t bother to ask me for details because am clueless like you.
With so much love in the air and all thanks to INEC (for postponing the scheduled election)
Immediately I got this invite I couldn’t say NO because I have some activity to keep me busy.
You might be asking what of her date???
Right now am so single and I need to keep busy with some fun activity to keep me away from some ‘mind games’, I had to jump into the program with all pleasure.
Hopefully it will be a fun outing and maybe just maybe I would meet him.

Depression- What about it?

Depression is an emotion that comes up every now and then.Life really is a mixture of emotions though you pray the good supercede the bad and the ugly. So what happens when you are depressed? Do you sink in and hit rock bottom? Or do you fight it ? It's not a good feeling and no one deserves to be depressed so you have to fight it. Some of the things I do during my downtimes that are really helpful to me and I hope someone that comes across it might find helpful. 1: Identify my triggers and run away from them as much as possible or at least till am in a better head space. 2: Depression triggers the need to find comfort in food,watch what you eat at this point to avoid eating all the unhealthy food choices that will increase your health risks. 3:Talk to people you can really trust about whatever is bothering you and hear their perspective. 4: Keep a journal.I call my journal "healing journal" where I write all my crazy thoughts,concerns, challenges everything.
